The fact that this is a painting is what I love about it. Amazing detail and great composition. The small details in the background really help support the piece as well. I think I would have prefered if his hand wasn't covering a portion of his chin though. Brilliant work!

first off you get a smile for posting and sticking right back to me...well done...The bg compliments the figure perfectly and I find the pose dynamic, I can see that the hand is giving you some trouble but is worth the effort. I love the subtleness of the hair on the top of the head with my favorite part of my painting being the details around the eyes and the hard catch light to activate them. Overall well done thanks for taking a challenge and exceding it as I told you already it was meant for everyone but I'm glad you took it on. I don't think you need any advice just to have fun and enjoy what you do and good luck with your project...+10
